I have a little quote box I like to read to get myself motivated. It reads:
"Be ambitions, get shit done, do well, live well, eat well.
Keep your priorities straight, your mind right, and your head up.
Do what you love, and love what you do."
We are all a work in progress. The only fault I can find is the human that believes they have no room or use for improvement. None of us are perfect. There are always different things that can be done to help us find a better version of ourselves. It does not have to be a complete life-changing overhaul. It is okay to work on simple and small things. Things that others may not even notice us working on. Any effort or dedication in a positive direction counts as self-improvement. There are so many things that could be tackled in that area. For instance, right now I am reading a book on healthy boundaries. This is a form of self-improvement and I will have actual goals I would like to meet when I get more familiar with the boundaries I would like to have in place in my life. It is all a matter of your version of yourself and where you would like to be.
Here is what some other self-improvement goals may look or sound like:
- Being
- Art of motivation
- High self-esteem
- Mental health
- Being organized
- Being productive
- Being positive
- Meditation
Just making an effort towards self-improvement will get you feeling better. I have a system and a very SMART way to set your goals for things like this. It will keep you from getting overwhelmed and is the best goal-reaching process I have come up with. My system is the badassery of goals. Basically being a badass at setting and reaching your goals. The badassery goals are part of the Savage self. Self-improvement journals, goal setting, gratitude journals, planners, etc. All guides and journals to help you on your self-improvement journey. Building your happiness is another self-improvement goal that everyone should consider entertaining. Sometimes it is hard to keep a smile on your face. Life is much more productive and positive if you are able to. There are goals you can set to help you attain more happiness. I have several guides and guided journals to help in several areas of the self-improvement genra. We can help to guide each other on our journey Lift each other up and support one another. Encourage and support one another. Please share with us your most recent experience with self-improvement in the comments. If you don't have a self-improvement experience you would like to share with us you can simply put an emoji to share how you feel right now.
I believe it was Buddha who said something to the effect of " if we cannot be of use to others, then please not harm them." Amen to that. We should try to put that into practice as well. Welcome to our journey of self-improvement. To make one tiny difference would change my world.
